We embarked on a daily photographic journey, capturing moments relentlessly. Armed with the Shinogo-sized camera, we committed to capturing one image per day, not two, emphasizing the intensity of each day encapsulated in a single frame. Our collective emotions and tension are intricately woven into each daily snapshot.
Every day is a new day!

Gently tapping the main body with a small mallet, delicately eliminating microscopic dust from the film folder using an air blower. Ensuring a pristine environment by banishing any trace of dust within the dark box, retrieving the sheet film in absolute darkness, and seamlessly placing it into the film folder. Securing the film folder with a band to prevent any unexpected opening, marking the completion of today’s meticulous setup for a single sheet of film. Hushing even the slightest movement of air, halting the air conditioner to set today’s photographed flower in a skillfully arranged manner, regardless of the season or indoor conditions. Carefully selecting lenses, appreciating the beauty of shadows cast by different light sources, calculating the extension of the bellows, aperture values, and shutter speeds, all culminating in the meticulous setup for today’s unique capture. Always accompanied by a neatly arranged collection of essential tools within the box, capturing one photo per day for 365 days alongside these indispensable items. Skillfully photographing thumbnail images. That intricate process proved challenging; on the initial New Year’s Day, it consumed nearly four hours. While the span of 365 days was long, the journey was not arduous; each day was filled with excitement and moments that made the heart flutter. The accomplishment of completing 365 days was not a solitary effort but a collaborative venture with my buddy, Mr. Kojima, for whose presence I am deeply grateful. I extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered words of encouragement throughout this journey.
